Documentary Film
"Consider" is a documentary film that explores how built environments relate to social exclusion. Embracing the premise that journeys are as important as destinations, the film documents both personal and collective stories of meaning-making. Followed are design students, educators, and practitioners as they engage with places and people in Minnesota’s diverse communities. Considering their role in creating built environments where everyone can thrive, they embark on introspections that reaffirm what it means to be human, helping chart new trajectories for how to approach community engagement in the design process.
Filmmakers: Chris Newberry and Prakshi Malik.
